2-2-16 - Introducing the "Cryptid" Bass! Designed in partnership with Brandon Cottongim. I've worked with Brandon before on the HellRazor Bass. This one has an "Obsidian Oil" hand rubbed finish.....fretless.
1-11-16 - So, I've decided to do something completely different here. Introducing "Sedition".....the first all acoustic for Monson Guitars. Walnut top, poplar body, and a couple layers of redwood and knotty pine to increase the acoustics. I made this guitar completely for myself. I wanted something I could pick up and mess around with, without needing to plug in.....and I simply loathe those giant acoustic guitars. Of course, it's available as an acoustic, but also an acoustic / electric, electric, baritone, and a bass! Oh yeah, I've been building guitars for 15 years now. Here's to "overt conduct or speech inciting people to rebel against the authority". Many thanks to the fantastic people I've had the chance to meet and work with over the years!

5-28-15 - I am extremely excited to announce that I have teamed up with Mike Moses at BLK / TRI Pickups and can now offer these in my guitars! Mike is doing hand crafted scatter coil pickups made the old way. To be able to offer custom hand made work like this for Monson Guitars is a perfect match and a no brainer. It's an honor to be working with someone on the same level and like-mindedness! Mike does custom work with a variety of options....check them out! Oh yeah, did I mention they sound fantastic as well.....tons of tone and big balls! I have yet to pick out my favorite.
